Mid 19th Century Ladies Album Hand Made Leather Bound c.1830s
Fantastic antique American Ladies Album. The first page of the album is a fine engraving by the publisher, R. De Silver, Philadelphia.
The album is filled with empty pages to be used as a diary and journal for ladies of the period.
The first entry is a preface from 1835. Throughout the journal are sampler-like pages with artwork and thoughts on hope and faith, among others.
The book is nicely bound in leather and in good antique condition.
