Pair of Chinese Sancai Style Glazed Ceramic Lamps C.1940s

Fine pair of low fired glazed ceramic lamps in the Chinese Sancai style.

Each lamp measures 5″ diameter at the base x 7″ at the body x 12″ high at the body x 16″ high to the socket x 24″ to the top of the final.

These lamps have their original wiring, harps and finials.

Shades are not included.

The lamps are in good vintage condition with minimal chipping to the carved rosewood base. Please review all images.

Wired and ready to illuminate.

Sancai wares, literally three colored wares, are earthenware moulded figures and vessels boldly glazed with splashes of bright green and amber on a straw-colored ground. More rarely, blue and a purplish brown are also seen.
